- On May 11, 2009, The Michigan Department of Energy, Labor and Economic Growth gathered more than 1,000 leaders in Lansing for the Green Today, Jobs Tomorrow Conference. Attendees discussed plans to diversify Michigan's economy by growing green jobs, especially in the renewable energy sector.
